Decorating your home is a fascinating thing to do. With a few touches, you can change the look of a room. Depending on your economy, the changes can be giant, permanent ones or smaller, seasonal ones.

Another way of renewing your house, or giving it that special touch is by color coding your home. This involves choosing a color and then, using it on different objects in the room. These days, all home appliances come in a variety of colors. It is not unusual to discover a blue fridge, red Hoover, etc. This can be used as a base for giving a room a special look. Pick up the color of the fridge in the kitchen curtains, change the sofa-cover to match the carpet.

There’s lots of books on the subject of color. Some colors are chilled, while others are warm. Red is meant to increase appetite, while blue diminishes it. Yellow encourages intellectual energy, and so on. It can be fascinating to know the impact different colors can have on us. Color coding your home also involves knowing what colors will go well with each other.
